Back-to-School Bargains!

I just LOVE back-to-school bargains! My teaching BFF texted me today telling me that she found some awesome (and cheap) school supplies at Woolworths. Naturally, I raced down to my local Woolies and grabbed myself some, too!

Check them out!
I was seriously WAY too excited when my besty told me about these magazine racks. Here are 3 reasons why I LOVE LOVE LOVE these:
1. They are super bright and colourful and pretty and cute!
2. They are PLASTIC and sturdy...no more of this cardboard, 'I'm about to fall apart after only 1 day of use' stuff.
3. This is the best reason....they are only $2! As in two dollars. TWO! Each! Helloooooo bargain! I snapped up 8 (2 of each colour) :)

I missed out on these last year when Woolworths had awesome bargains and I wasn't about to miss out again this year! I grabbed three new stamps at only $2 each too! Seriously, everywhere else I've found these they are anything from $5 to $14....EACH! One tiny little stamp. I'm not willing to pay that. Thank you Woolies!

Does anyone else know of any bright, colourful and cheap fun bargains that I may need to know about? If you're an Aussie, visit your local Woolworths! If you're not, are there some online bargains I can take advantage of?

  3. Love the colours. My stamps 'disappeared' last year. I need to get some more but I don't like paying the big price. It's crazy! I 'm off to woolies now!!
    Thanks for the tip, Shanyn.

  4. Love the dividers. I have a class set of ugly black ones that are in need of a makeover but even at only $2 each I don't think I could justify spending $60 on something I already have!
For back to school bargains I have had luck at ALDI in the past for cheap stamps, stickers, laminating pouches, folders, paper etc. I might be crazy but I also find now is the time to buy Christmas items for next year at places like Spotlight and Big W- stickers, craft, gift bags, ribbon often at half price woohoo!

  8. I managed to grab a few stamps last year and they're still going. Thanks for the heads up! I found a ton of good (cheap) things for my reward box from Kmart the other day- cute dice sharpeners and chunky erasers, etc. Love a bargain!

  9. If you're in Brisbane there is an amazing $2 shop in Rothwell. I spent almost $100 on goodies for my classroom just the other day! I'm on the lookout for some colourful containers for my reading corner =)
