CURRENTLY! Yippee! The first of 2013!
Listening - The neighbour is fixing the fence because of me. Well, not me personally. I was sitting in my lounge room when I noticed something in the corner of my eye outside. When I looked up, I saw nothing. Then a rottweiler dog came running down the side of our house and jumped over our 6 foot fence.
JUMPED!
So, we told the neighbours and now they are doing something to the fence to stop him from getting over.
Loving - I am EXTRA loving my friends and family. 'Tis the season!
Thinking - In Australia, our new school year begins in January and ends in December. I am trying out my very first theme in my classroom this year (we don't really do them in Australia but you've all inspired me) and have decided on Dr Seuss. I've been pinning like a mad person. So PLEASE send some ideas my way. Check out my Pinterest page here to see what ideas I've already pinned.
Wanting - Yes, on my last currently I had an Ipad here. It is still here. I can't decide whether to get it or a Samsung Tablet. Do you have an Ipad or Tablet? Which one's better?
Needing - I leave for Vietnam on Saturday!!! EEEEEEP! So excited but I really need to start packing.
OLW - Balance. Each year I get a little bit better at this but this year I REALLY plan on balancing my personal and work life better. I want to spend more time at the gym and go on more 'dates' with the BF. I can't wait to see what 2013 brings!

Balance is always good... :) I have an ipad and LOVE it - but I'm an apple person so the learning curve wasn't bad. love your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI SO love your one little word, balance! There is more truth in this word, and I need to do better with balancing in my life! Dr. Seuss, is a great way to kick off the year, especially with his book, The Sneetches, 'cause ALL people are special & important, and I love teaching this to the kids!

I have both the iPad and the Samsung Galaxy Tab - and I definitely prefer the iPad especially as a teacher there are a lot more apps that suit my needs.

I have an ipad. If I could do it all over again I would get a mini. The ipad is huge...if you want to carry it in your purse.

In my house, I have an iPad, but my husband & two boys are soooo anti-fruit brand ...lol. The fruity kind certainly has more apps for an educator. Enjoy your break!!!!
