I have been totally MIA on my poor little ol' blog lately. For shame!
I'm on holidays at the moment but last semester (here in Australia we have 2 semesters per teaching year, which is divided into 2 terms per semester) was a little bit hectic with report cards and some other responsibilities that I picked up.
Anyway, here's my Currently:

Loving - I'm on holidays again! Yippee! I think I put this for every Currently that falls on the holidays. It's just so nice to have a break and play with this cu-razy kid:
Thinking - I'm always thinking about what will come/happen next, especially when it comes to school and work! It's one of my weaknesses because I find it hard to switch off. I am always excited to start a new term fresh, though, so I am looking forward to beginning the second half of our school year!
Wanting - I'm starting to feel REALLY guilty about not looking after myself better. That includes eating and exercise. I've never been a sporty or fit person, it's not in my family genes, but I have so many inspiring people in my life that I really want to start working on my health more.
Needing - I love prioritising my 'to-do' list but don't do it often enough. I feel much more accomplished and motivated to get things done if I do it though! If it doesn't need to be done yesterday then it goes further down the list. It's common sense really, isn't it? But I bet we all forget to do it as much as we should.
Tips, Tricks and Hints - I guess the running theme through my Currently is prioritising and making sure I find time for just me, so that is my advice to bloggers and any new teacher who is starting out.
We teach because we love what we do. I love it so much sometimes that I forget about myself. I work at school. I work at home. I forget to look after myself or even just sit and do nothing sometimes. I got to one point where I'd say to myself 'I think I'll sit down and watch a movie' but I'd put it on and then place my laptop in front of me or cut something out. I think that's fine to do sometimes but we need time to just STOP!
I have gotten MUCH better at this but now I need to focus on healthy 'me'. Going to the gym more often and eating more healthy. I've started a 'Fitspiration' board on my Pinterest. Come along and follow!
